Biographical Information
Sheri Golden, LPC is a licensed professional counselor with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication and a Master of Science
degree in Human Services, specializing in Mental Health Counseling. Her educational background also includes studies
in fine arts, design, theater, and music. For many years, Sheri worked as professional puppeteer and ventriloquist
comedian and still performs on special occasions. Other areas of artistic work for Sheri include portrait drawing,
sculpted fabric art, and costume design for theater.
Sheri’s interest in ministering to people with Biblical counsel began while growing up as a minister’s daughter. As an adult, she continued to pursue training in Biblical studies, small group facilitation, non-denominational Christian ministry, and evangelistic outreach. Sheri currently is actively involved at her local church in prayer ministry and small group Bible studies for children and adults. Sheri believes that her work as a life coach and mentor is directed by God, requiring her to maintain spiritual disciplines of prayer, meditation, and daily Bible study.
